Mini project I'm working on for my 6mm Modern Forces. I've been using the Cold War Commander rules and really enjoying them, my son's picked them up quickly and they're nice and straightforward. I wanted a 1.5m x 1.2m board and the terrain to be on mdf to get the most variety out of it. Motorway/road sections are 30cm long and the other terrain varies. Dougie.

Some shots of the individual pieces.

What!? No Overhead roadsigns to anywhere? No commercial signs? Ridiculous Cool <<<(here speaks a jealous man)

I just love your Highway and overhead bridge Smile

It's good to hear you like the rules and your son has taken to them. Give us more.

Excellent terrain!

If I may make some suggestions? Dirty the road up a bit - dust and oil spills and bits where it has been patched. Even just dry brushed in light sand?

Next job build some curves for the road Smile

Cheers

Bob

Dougie, this is very, very good! So clean and useful. I´d like to see the whole of the table covered with modular tiles, but I´m sure those aren´t the last you did, are they? I love modular terrain! Very Happy As the others said: Great overpass solution! This terrain of yours is really tempting to get one into 1/300 scale! I have to resist... Wink

I don't think he's trying to model roads in the UK or it would be all potholes with little bits of roads. Very Happy
