Heartfelt congratulations to top-man Rob, and Michi and Dougie too.
You b******s, you got more votes than me! Razz And they were well deserved too- all the top three entries, and many of the ones that just placed, were absolutely stunning.
Congratulations and thanks to everyone who participated, it was wonderful to be among such talented and bright company.

Well you hid my shame of not getting a single vote so thanks for that.

There were a couple of us who joined you in that score. An old Athenian, widely known for his vanity, was once chosen to be the last man in the Chorus- possibly as a bit of an insult by the playwright. He responded with "well done on finding a way to add glamour to that hapless position". Smile Or, as Che is rumoured to have said when Castro told him to stop straggling behind the rest of the column, "I'm not a straggler- I'm your rearguard"!

Congrats to the winner and runners up (you b'stards Laughing Laughing Laughing).

It was fun. I made something I was planning on doing anyway, but pushed it up the queue a bit. And I was genuinely surprised, and gratified, to get five votes - I thought I'd get none at all.

I'm not sure about the next build - I'm not into moderns much - WW2 is about my limit. Moderns tend to be all DPM and stuff...

I'm crap enough at painting without making myself look like a complete wazzock trying to paint DPM on a 20mm figure.

Not all moderns is camo Phil, the idea of the builds is to get you to do stuff you wouldn't normaly do after all ;)
