Hopefully these pics are a bit better.

This is a conversion of a kid's toy boat I picked up at a flea market. I removed an overscale twin MG from the front hull and plated over the hole with plastic card. There are also a couple of holes on the sides (gunwhales?) where I've removed some "missile launchers".

I've waterlined the hull and stuck it to some card. The water is from a Miliput type material left over from a DIY project.

I've added a couple of Skytrex SVT machineguns to the side of the bridge and the turret is from a HaT Armorfast T-34. The dinghy's from the Revell German Engineers set.

I've done a couple of crew from the Revell Kriegsmarine set. I'll need to add a couple more as machine gunners.

I've just put one coat of grey paint over the vivid green and yellow scheme it started with. Obviously a lot of pin-washing and weathering to do.

Looks good Rich.

Do you need me to build any further units for the game?

Richard (and anyone else interested in taking part),

We can always use more AK-47-armed rebel types but the scenario and setting a flexible enough that we can use most things that would be available in the 1990s.

For those who haven't been following the various threads here and elsewhere, the plan is to do a big multi-player skirmish game at Deeside Defenders' Gauntlet show in North Wales (near Chester) in July.

The overall scenario has an American task force (backed up by Spanish troops from Richard B) fighting their way through to the town of Tuzkhur to extract some unfortunate foreign civilians. All around, the Andreivian Turks and Armenians are at each other's throats and keen to avenge past atrocities.
