As always with a holiday you plan to do more than is possible. However, as it's not school anymore I won't get a detention for not finishing Very Happy Very Happy

Heres what I did managed to get finished.

All Britannia. Fallschrimjager recce platoon, with heavy support from a pair of 250/9s

All Britannia. Fallschrimjager engineer platoon.

Kelly's Heroes. Fallschrimjager medics.
These are the first Kelly's Heroes figures I have painted. They match my Britannia very well. The only problem I have, is that both wounded figures are noticeably larger than the standing figures.

Attack Hobby kit of Phanomen Granit 25H ambulance.

Couple of SHQ 'Raupenschlepper' Ost (RSO/03) tracked lorries.

Still to finish

Italeri Sdkfz 234/2 Puma (My favorate German armoured car).

Military Wheels kit of Volkswagen Type 93 ambulance.
The Volkswagen was probabaly the worst kit I have ever made. It had loads of flash and did not fit well together. If I had not spent so much on it, it would have gone in the bin Twisted Evil Twisted Evil

SHQ French Halftrack Truck. Not finished as I've realised I need two of them.

Italeri Sd.Kfz.11 3 ton half track.

All in all though a very enjoyable and productive Christmas.
Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy
Don

All turned out very nice. And it is a lot you managed to do - so don´t be disappointed. Better to do things right and leave something undone, than rush all in a hurry and get a lot of halfhearted work as result. Well done! Very Happy

Looking really good.

I have just gone to the Brittania site and can find no FJ. I was also trying to find the katenkrad and trailer for your enginers and can't?

Am i being dumb or have they stopped making them?

Thanks
Richard

http://www.britanniainkerman.com/brit/products/wwII/germanarmy/falschrimjager.htm
That's a link to the frame.

To view it properly, go to http://www.britanniainkerman.com, (Click past intro pages), Products -> WWII -> German Army -> "Falschrimjager".

Richard,

If you go to the 'galleries' section on the Britannia website, there are some pictures of the figures.

Don't think there are any of the motorbike though Sad Sad

These are the first paltoons of a Fallschrimjager regiment that I am working on very slowly. Have just order the HQ and mortar sections.

Will keep you posted.

Don

I'm afraid I'm one of the black undercoat brigade but am happy to be convinced otherwise,

Just the inspiration I needed to get on with some medics for my various RF organised units...

Great stuff

Mark,

I am a Humbrol enamel fan and use the chocolate brown number 98 as an undercoat for all my German vehicles.

Then number 83 as the main colour.

Green patches number 102, brown patches number 70.

Line doors etc with number 98.

Then dry brush the whole model with lightened number 83.

Hope this helps

Don

Great work Don. I really like the Phanomen Granit Ambulance, what was it like to assemble?

Will,

No problem at all. Took me a couple of hours. Not too many pieces.

If you like unusual vehicles I would thoroughly recommend it.

I am building a Luftwaffe Field Division and while I have not done any horse transports, I have used as many odd vehicles as possible to give it the poorly equipped look.

Don.

PS. Having now got the new Rapid Fire! book, I can claim I have saved the horse transports for my Volksgrenadiers Very Happy Very Happy
