Yeh the Grand Manner resin model with added radar mesh.

I had this model at the time of the Arnhem game but i never had time to paint it so i had to borrow spikes and make some roofs for it using my unpainted one as the template, here is Spikes:

Al, Torso Bob and I found the real fort this year. Well hidden behind trees but a helpful Dutch lady pointed the way and we strolled in (badly defended this time) for a walk around.

We have a heap of piccies of the whole battlefield tour including some very interestinmg shots that you never see in books. We`ll get them up after we get settled in here lads.

Very nice again, Al! I like the radar station, and have been dreaming of making my own Generic one) at one point. I was thinking of maybe utilising the Auhagen 'stahlbau (STAKO)' components for the radar mesh. They migh work very well. Anyone used them for any projects?

You can see them here, just follow the link selbstbau->Stahlbau (STAKO). Lots of various types: http://www.auhagen.de/katneuip/index.htm

Could I ask someone to measure the 'trench' areas? My infantry are mounted 3 to a base on a 60mm by 30mm stand. will these fit?

Cheers

Hi Cleach i once owned one of these and with those base sizes not a chance, the treches will only take 20mm bases or smaller. Cool

Shame. Thanks for the info. I suppose that I will have to scratch-build it.

Cheers

Ehm , would anyone be able to make a shot of this section? I'm not sure if I have to build a door or a solid wall there.

(or if anyone has the blueprints of the thing, who knows)

Thx.

Johan

Right, finished the big bunker but left the right side open for now as I'm not sure how it looks, finished the small bunker and leaving the concrete stairway and the third bunker for tomorrow.

God I love scratching in 6mm.

But I must get better pics, is this thing based on a real bunker or a work of fiction? (Meaning can I send it out to be casted/sold to a caster or will this be one of my one offs?)

Johan
