The idea was to speed up the output of useful terrain for generic 20th century scenarios. For the first we wanted to play a zombies-in-a-supermarket event. We agreed to make any kind of more or less modern building on a 10" square base with at least 1" sidewalks around. All of us felt free to to what they liked most.

First building was the little supermarket...

The next one came up with a scientific laboratory and an office building,
and I made the "Odeon" cinema and the "Texaco" petrol station:

After quite a long time we have now many buildings on stock, which are useful for prohibition era scenarios as well:

OOOOPS Shocked Damn, you´re right! As a not-native speaker I didn´t look as close as I should have: It´s not "Groupbuilt entries"...

Sure, Olivier. This one is a New York City ´70s scenario:

There is the infamous Berlin ´45 scene, you already know:

And finally some 1930s Chicago gangster street fights:

Olivier

Got me! Yes, they are made from filmcans glued on 40mm Warmachine slotbases.
It is some german specialty called "LITFASSSÄULE" - a column invented by Mr. Litfass around the end of the 19th century for advertising in cities. You can still find them in many german towns. I glued some Naziposters on them and varnished all for use in WWII-scenarios.

Very inspiring!

I especially like the variety of buildings. The park/ fountain square works really well to break up the look of the board. Allot of people forget to add a bit of greenery in their cities. Having some green areas makes the whole thing more believable.
All the extra little touches that have been added are really fantastic. Well done to everyone that built them!
