Looking for stuff on 17th SS, I found a pic of an Opel Blitz in a Heer unit that has the 'Drilling' mount fitted in the back of the truck. The same unit also has an Opel Blitz towing an 88.

Just wondering if there is any other pics around as it would make a nice easy conversion... Cool

Piers, I have a pic of a Reneault 5 tonner with TWO drilling on the back Smile Smile Smile Smile As for a Blitz towing an 88, there must have been a lot of men pushing as well, the Blitz trailer load was around 2 tonne and the Flak 18 weighed 3 times that while the 36 andd 37 were 4 times that. Sayeed: CMK/Planet does one in resin:

Speaking of Drillings on unusual vehicles, does anyone have any pic of the RSO mounted with one? Or the armed Hummel used by the panzer-kompanie Kummersdorf late in the war?

Ive just built their 251/21 - nice model but the barrels are .4mm thick bits of resin. If you could get them off the huge runner without breaking them they'd snap in seconds in gaming use. I replaced mine with plastic rod
