Hello everyone,

unlike most of the people here, I need a very long time to paint a figure,
because I dont have much spare time and I paint them to be placed on Dioramas, so I try to paint carefully.

The first two figs are Preiser refugees, third is I think an old Esci fig, just to practice splinter camo.

1. The boy's hat will be painted a dark blue (HJ Flakhelfer)

2. Built with spare parts from other Preiser sets and scratch-built crutch.

3. Practicing splinter after the excellent Elhiem painting guide.

Well it's not much but I'm happy I finally found time to paint at least some of the many. Please leave comments and suggestions so I can learn.

And now my question:
Does anyone have information about European clothing of the 40'ies?
I still have to paint these civilians and always end up using browns/greens/greys...
I'd like to use some more colors but I'm unsure what is appropriate for that era.

Thanks and happy painting,
Chris

WOW

Looks great. What Prieser packs are those from?
How do 1/72 Prieser size with metal figs, namely AB and Elhiem.

Thanks
Tom

Sorry, work has been keeping me busy until late at night the last days.
Hope to get round to posting this evening.
