Sponsored Build 1 – Liberation Miniatures post 1946 sponsored build.

Build Theme
The theme of this current build is wide ranging, any historical subject is allowed as long as it is post WW2. Ficticious African or South American civil wars, near future or Twilight2000 inspired ideas are allowed

The entry MUST consist of a minimum of 10x 20mm figures from Liberation Miniatures. Only miniatures available from Liberation Miniatures CURRENT catalogue may be entered. Converted Liberation miniatures figures are allowed.

Lib.Mins website Arrow http://www.rhmodels.com/index.html
Syr Hobbs is the US stockist Arrow http://www.syrhobbswargames.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc

Vehicles/AFV’s to accompany the figures are allowed.
They may be from ANY manufacturer; so you may use a Dragon HMMVEE, Airfix Sheridan etc. but all painting work must be your own.
So commercial pre-painted vehicles are NOT allowed!

Please note that Sci-Fi themes, Zombies, fantasy WW2 or WW2 “what if” continuation themes are NOT allowed.

Build Criteria

All Guild members (inc. admins) are eligible for entry.
All entries must consist of NEW figures/models, (although terrain in photos can be recycled).
You must have made and/or painted your entry yourself.

You must stick to the theme of the Group Build, if in doubt check with an Admin before spending months on a model. Please check the individual Build theme for more details about what is and what is not considered on topic, special rules and possible inducements. If you are unsure please PM the Admin who is co-ordinating the build (panzerfaust200). You won't be stopped from entering, but you will not be eligible to win or be awarded a build ribbon (all Admin decisions are final.)

Work In Progress (WIP) shots must be reserved for the members WIP area, we want the Group Build area to remain fairly clean. (WIP pictures may be added to a final thread which contains a completed entry if the member wishes to show the extent of their work, conversions etc.)

Voting and Prizes
Voting will take place once the closing date is reached, for a period of one week.
All Guild members are eligible to vote regardless of whether they took part in the build or not. One vote per Guild member. (you are not allowed to vote for yourself (obviously))
The voting will be for the participating Guild member, regardless of the number of entries made by that member.

All entrants will be awarded a Build ribbon as in previous Guild Group/Sponsored Builds

Rolf from Liberation Miniatures has kindly offered the following prizes;
1st place - £30 gift voucher
2nd place - £10 gift voucher
3rd place - £5 gift voucher

''the competition is a bit of a thanks to Guild members who have supported 20mm modern gaming over the last year , I appreciate moderns is not everyones cup of tea - but the competition should give impetus to anyone wanting to try something different"
- Rolf Hedges

The voucher must be spent all in one go, shipping will be free of charge (worldwide) the voucher is for metal figures from the current Liberation Miniatures catalogue only, it does not include Liberation Miniatures resin vehicles.

Sponsored Build timeframe;
This sponsored build will run for a period of three months to allow as many guild members as possible, as much time as possible, to enter. The closing date deadline will be January 31st at midnight, UK local time.

GOOD LUCK!

Rob. (panzerfaust200)
Organising admin for this sponsored build

Well I have been lurking on the guild long enough and I felt it was time to delurk and whilst I'm here throw my hat in to the ring for the Liberation Miniatures sponsored build.

I am currently painting a late 70's Soviet Motor Rifle platoon in BMP-1. I had these just before xmas and they will be finished soonish I hope. Smile

If you are ready to hit the ice and start playing ice hockey you need to know about the basic equipment that is essential to your game.

PostPosted: Fri Jun 10, 2011 3:16 am    Post subject: Nelson Cruz in Rangers Jersey Familiar with Rehab Stints Reply with quote

The Rangers Nelson Cruz looked far more comfortable than Josh Hamilton; however, Cruz’s injury wasn’t as severe as Hamilton’s. Wearing Nelson Cruz Rangers jersey, Cruz strained his right quadriceps muscle May 4 trying to beat out an infield single and was placed on the 15-day disabled list, while Josh Hamilton broke a bone in his right shoulder in mid-April as he slid face first into home plate. These two stars of the Rangers are at Dell Diamond only for the weekend to get back in shape for their eventual trip to Arlington on Monday. Actually, they were cleared for play this week by the Rangers for rehabilitation games in the minors. And they didn’t provide their Express teammates with a victory Friday night.

Josh Hamilton was the American League’s most valuable player last season, while Nelson Cruz was the former all-star outfielder. Nelson Cruz has picked up the pre-game meal tab Friday night for his new Round Rock Express teammates, and Josh Hamilton will do the same Saturday night at Dell Diamond. It is very good to have stars players in the team because they will bring economical benefit for the team. Therefore, the public must focus on Cruz and Hamilton’s performance on Monday. And then Nelson Cruz Rangers jersey will be the best-selling one. Also, the Rangers MLB jerseys will also be hot for the Rangers fans. www.jerseyslocker.com and www.customauthenticjersey.com are good MLB shops for the fans to buy MLB jerseys, and even NFL jerseys if you are NFL fans, too.
