Depending on which woodland pattern you're discussing, there are quite a few users. According to wikipedia (caveat emptor), US M81 woodland pattern is currently worn by:

Afghanistan, Albania, Argentina, Bangladesh, Bolivia, Bosnia, Chile, Colombia, Croatia, Ecuador, Estonia, Ethiopia, Guatemala, Honduras, Iran, Israel, Italy, Ivory Coast, Jamaica, Jordan, Latvia, Lebanon, Libya, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Mexico, Morocco, Netherlands (RNLMC), Nicaragua, Nigeria, Oman, Pakistan, Paraguay, Peru, Russia, Sierra Leone, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Sudan, Syria, Thailand, Turkey, Venezuela.

In the past, I'm pretty sure it was worn by Cambodian, Iraqi, Palestinian, and Philippine forces, not to mention US police and federal tactical teams.

Hmmm. Tutorial??? I just painted the patches - perhaps a little bit more clumsy, but the result is appropriate, I think. I didn´t highlight it, but a slight drybrushing with khaki could do some more effect.

After all the work put into the figures would Lib Mins be intertested in casting the converted models?

i'm not converting.... (well my order has yet to arrive Wink )

besides... all entries should be finished (ie - painted) Laughing

if anyone wants to ask Liberation miniatures about casting up possible work THEY (the Guild member) have converted, i suggest they speak directly to Liberation Miniatures off forum. Wink

Received my order today, thanks Sayeed! I got a mixed bunch, some modern US troops, a couple squads of Vietcong, and a mixed lot of urban terrorists, Middle-East insurgents and Al-Qaeda/Taleban. Oh, and a squad from the generic range, with russki gear.

Dunno which I am going to paint for the Build yet, but I like all them a lot.

(Oh, and I got a pack of the generic seated WWII pilots, they look great!)

Was at the parents house over the weekend where Christmas comes early. Had asked for a selection of US for Iraq to accompany the usual socks etc and provided the codes and telephone number. Now my mother gets funny ordering stuff that she doesn't know about so when I opened it and found that it was the US that I asked for AND she had added a selection of Afghans I was mightily impressed ! Apparently Rolf is a very nice man ! Very Happy

I'm awaiting my order from Duane to fill out the ranks. He just got the stuff in, so I guess I will be ambushing my postman for the next few days as well. Very Happy Thanks Duane!

As I do small scale skirmishes, I'm doing a unit of 10 or so + vehicles.

Fun Stuff

Tom
