Really, really impressive.....Could you let me know how you do the chipping and weathering?
I have tried using a pencil to replicate it on my faithful T 62 (fast becoming my practise model!) but it doesn't seem very good. Research on 'tinternet says more is less and Vallejo paints are a sound option.
Have you any secrets that you are willing to share?
Cheers in advance

Isn't the chipping done with plain old Dark Grey?

I use Vallejo german grey for my chipping. I use a fine brush and both dab and sort of drybrush the chosen areas. Its hard not to overdo it though, so beware! Very Happy

I use reference photos from various sites and from my favourite modelling sites:
http://www.toadmanstankpictures.com/
http://missing-lynx.com/
http://www.track-link.net/
http://www.armorama.com/

I love the modelling sites since they give a wealth of information and above all inspiration!

Yekke that is really something. Shocked I was going to ask about the chipping but you answered that already. Can't wait to see what gets added next. My personal vote would be for a commander's private command vehicle/caravan and some personal bodyguards in landrovers and maybe a technical or two with heavy weapons.... Very Happy Very Happy
