FAO: OLIVER

My son , Sam, is not a permanent feature but the shelves are. That`s where I store most of my buildings.

Jon, that shed is an amazing refuge for any hobbyist. A dream that only a true enthusiast could have make become reality. Shocked You must have a very loving wife on your side! The size of the table makes the room around it look a bit limited. I see all kinds of models, figures and terrain object in the cabinets, but no terrain tiles or space for them. Is that table permanent? Are the tiles interchangeable? Are there more stored under the table? Forgive my many questions, but the sheer existence of a privately owned WARGAMING-SHED (I mean, this isn´t a club or something, is it?)just stuns me...

Yes to all of those questions!! Laughing

The table is permanent and built in such a way that all the extra terrain tiles ( and there are many including a nice harbour, canal and river sections and enough beach for a 16 foot beach) are stored underneath the table along with my figures in cabinets for WW2 and also my ECW and Napoleonic collection. Sad that not everything is on display but there are a lot of figures and terrain and you have a limit no matter what size your room.

There is a 6 foot wide gap each side of the table and plenty of space to move all the way around all sides of the table.

Olivier, no not cold in the Winter mate as long as you hace a little heater.

Jon,
I have heard it said that every man should have a shed. If I ever get one I want one just like yours. Oh! By the way, great looking game.

sounds international.. mine is always surprised when she steps in my mess to discover stuff that weren't there the month before.. thisis why I would consider the possibility of secret hiding place underneath the table.. Wink Very Happy
