Not what U expected, right? Laughing

1/72 Beechcraft Bonanza by Arii. Very crummy kit, and not cheap here either, none of the glass fits and sanding to make the 2 halves actually meet up took like forever.

In my original guise I had given her 2 small 5-rocket tubes....that was around february of last year. Ripped those off again last weekend, cleaned her up with more milliput and started painting. Freehanded the Phantom logo for fun as I like it. And put a magnet in her belly so she can stick to the fridge. And she's 95% done now.

But what is she?

Well..... a Twilight 2000 excentric perhaps? A African arms smuggler? A South American based operative? Or just another wreck dumped on an airfield? Who knows Very Happy

She just needs some more wear and tear (yes, more...) and a few coats of gloss varnish.

Some more pics:

Yes, one day I will paint something up considerd normal by wargaming standards like a German or a tank. Today wasn't that day Rolling Eyes

Johan

Who knows what makes the Beech Bonanza "The" most unique airplane in the US (and I believe in the world)?

Brilliant paint-job! It really DOES look weatherbeaten and hard-used.

Well, since the IDF did actually use one in combat I'd suggest it has been sitting at a desert airstrip somewhere, ready to be used by a secret cult sworn to protect a holy site which contains a miraculous relic.
